Evo Jackson is a film composer in Los Angeles, born Evgenii Zhenin in the forests and frozen silence of Siberia. He came to music alone, teaching himself from the age of fifteen, and grew up on Russian, European, and American music all at once. That collision still runs under everything he writes.
He writes dark, cinematic scores for film, television, and documentary: music that moves from restrained drama to full-blooded horror and the cold, electric spaces in between. He scores to picture, shaping sound around what a scene needs to feel, and can carry a story from a single haunted piano to a full orchestra at full cry.
